In Schedule 1 and 2, I doubt that I will be able to remain awake in Block two. Also, I think that the percentage of homework completed will decrease if Independent Learning was shifted to the end of the day. After all, in the end of the day, the homework has already been turned in.
Let's just not change, independent learning in the last period will not work for most people, well, we won't use it productively. This is what I think, maybe I'm wrong, but, yea...
I think: don't change anything..
I believe that leaving the schedule the way it is is the best idea to do, because it's the schedule we're most used to. We're also not going to do anything in independent learning if it's the last period of the day. Also, if they really want to move independent learning to the end of the day, I personally think that letting us off early to go home and do homework would have no difference than staying at school to do homework.
The Independent Learning Period, is I think a good idea in the middle of the day because then us students will take advantage of the period, while having it at the end of the day really makes it kind of a rest period. To be frank, I think it is a good work period whether for homework or asking teachers question, and of course finishing unfinished work.
I support schedule 3: don't change anything.
I don't agree with changing our schedule. When I do my homework at home, I always consider about my independent learning, so that I can save my spare time. I have a lot of things to do now. I have to use my independent learning time to do my homework. In addition I don't see any points for changing schedule. I'd rather just go back to home and do my personal works at home than just stay at school and wasting time with watching movie or something. I bet we will waste our time, if we move our independent learning time.
i think just not change anything of the schedule...i like our lod schedule better
i think we should don't change anything, because i want the independent learning time too be early,, so people can work on homework that are due today.
JZ has a good point.. There is really no point staying in school doing homework since its the last period. Why not just go home and take a rest?! So lets just leave it at the same period.
I don't think we should change anything. We won't be motivated to do anything during independent learning if it is set at the last period. Independent learning in the mornings (as currently scheduled) allow for us to meet with each other and discuss our work before the final two classes.
I think we should not change it, because if we have independent learning at the end then people will be tired at the end of the day. SO they will not do their homework.
I think don't change anything is better. we don't have to change anythings
I think: We should just leave the schedule the way it is now. By changing the schedule to have independent learning at the end of the day will decrease the amount of homework completed. I think it should stay the same because people need time to do their homework due that day.Thanks.
btw, I am Jordan..
schedule 3 because if the schedule changes then i will have to think about it again before i go to my classes.
i think we shouldn't change anything, because i like how the independent learning is now.
And if everyone have the independent learning at the afternoon then people get sleepy, they might wanna take the time having a little nap not doing there homework.
I prefer choice #3~ don't change the schedule.
I think having independent learning in the middle of the day really helped me a lot. I usually use that time very effectively to do assignments that will be due in two or three days. (I guess not only me feel that way, many others feel that way too.) If independent learning is moved to the last period, from my experience, the period will become a relax or chat period. People will feel tired and cannot be as productive as in the morning.
I think we should keep our current schedule. Independent learning should be the time when we are studying for test or completing assignments we have later that day maybe. Especially if you have a test and you can refresh your memory in the morning.
I think changing the schedule is good idea, but independent learning time should be in a middle of the day. Because, if independent learning time is in last class, it won't work. Most of student feel really tired, so that makes everyone go to sleep easy.
So, i think we just keep the schedule and try to more focus on last period of class.
I think don't change anything.
Because if we didn't do our homework, and the class is in afternoon, we can use independent learning time to work it.

schedule 3. I don't think that we need to change anything, the original one is good enough.
I would like to change it to schedule 2, because I like to have independent learning at the end of the day, so I can know what homework there is and I get to chose witch one to do.
I don't really like the idea of having Math Topics in the last block, but I would still choose our current schedule over the other two proposed. Independent Learning at the end of the day... we might as well just call it Chill Time.
I like schedule 2, because I like to feel comfortable, why schedule 2 is make me feel comfortable, because as soon as wellness class feel is really tired, but independent learning time is for teacher give to us freedom, but just work, so when we have science or something profeesional class that time I can't pay attention about that well, but independent learning time is diffenrent
To all students PLEASE DO NOT SPAM!!!
I think the schedule is ideal the way it is. Currently, I have math the last period of the day, and could really benefit from having some extra time to finish up the homework in academic time. Teachers will argue that students are waiting until the last minute to do the homework due later that day, right? Well I don't think that's the case for everyone. People are busier than ever these days and having that period to work is beneficial to many. Like Kevin Liao said, the current academic time is a great time to seek help from teachers. The argument goes that any class at the end of the day won't get as much dedication due to people being tired. I feel that out of the possibilities for last period, academic time would be the worst decision. After all, it is basically a free period and since people will be tired they can fall asleep a lot easier than they would in an Academic class, where the teacher is teaching. People are still having trouble getting used to our current schedule and mixing things up once again will easily mess people up. People are really making good use of independent learning now and putting it at the end of the day will result in a decrease of homework being completed. Independent learning is most helpful during the middle of the day. Lets not change the schedule!

Don't change anything.Because i like the schedule that i have right now.
I prefer the schedule now we use. In independent learning, I can do more work than at home(or in the dorm..) because everyone else in the classroom are also doing the same job too...
I like the new schedule and I agree with what jz said. If we put independent learning at last, we wont do anything.
I like the original one, because I use to , I think that my life just keep on going , I dun want adventure anymore....Its my life.
We should just leave our schedule as it is right now. Having independent learning at the end of the day will make me fall asleep because you have freedom to do whatever things you have to do.
For me, I have math class for the last block, and I don't fall asleep during that time because we are being watched by the teacher and are being limited!
In conclusion, we should just keep the schedule the same!!
I think having independent learning before academic period is really useful. I normally use independent learning to study for the last academic class (which is pre calculus for me...) Independent learning really help the pre-calc peoples to share answers and help other students.
btw...theres seriously no point having independent learning in the afternoon...especially the last period.
I think we should change it to schedule number 1, since schedule number 2 has a chores on 4 floor, then, 2, then 4. The good thing with having independent learning at the end of the day if that we have less home work on the night!!
But I think the best will be if we could have wellness the last period!!
But the best is still Schedule 1 anyways
I think we shouldn't change the Day B schedule, because I like to have class first, and then have the break and then have the advisory and have independent class. And we can have lunch. And in the afternoon we can do things like musical.
Don't change anything.... please.i don't think is good idea If you set the independent learning at the last period. because sometime i can catch up the work during independent learning.
I like Schedule 2, because I often get sleepy in the morning and I don't think I would lose too much for being sleepy in advisory than in GE or 1st block. However, I think it's a bad idea to have independent learning as the last period. Man, I bet I wouldn't feel like studying if independent learning were to move in the last period. So, I'm here to propose a Schedule 4!!
8:00 - 8:30: Advisory
8:35 - 10:00: Block 1
10:00 - 10:15: Break
10:15 - 11:40: Block 2 (would now become Pre-Calc, Math Topics, Science 7, Humanities 8, Lang. Arts 9 and Science 10)
11:40 - 12:30: Lunch/Break
12:30 - 1:55: Block 4 (Independent Learning)
2:10 - 3:35: Block 3 (as currently scheduled)
I think not changing any thing will be just fine.
In schedule 1 and 2, the independent learning period is moved to the end of the school period. I suppose that it might decrease people's efficiency of studying because: 1. People usually are tired in the end of school. And 2. By the end of the school, the works are already turned in. Therefore, just as Kevin Liao had said: independent learning may become more likely a resting period.
um eugene.... you can't cahnge sports or would language cuz of the track...
I think changing the schedule might change the student's study habit. For example, for the original schedule, the students leave the homework at the last minute and use the independent learning to finish it. On the other hand, for the first and second schedule, the independent learning gives the students time to start the new given assignment. However, I agree with what JZ said, moving the independent learning period has no differences than letting the students go home and do their homework.
i would like to give a new proposal....
8:00 - 9:25: Block 1 (as currently scheduled)
9:25 - 9:40: Break
9:40 - 10:10: Independent study
10:15 - 11:40: Block 2 (would now become Pre-Calc, Math Topics, Science 7, Humanities 8, Lang. Arts 9 and Science 10)
11:40 - 12:30: Lunch/Break
12:30 - 1:55: Block 3 (as currently scheduled)
2:10 - 3:35: Block 4 (Independent Learning)
By doing this, people will work more efficiently for the 1st independent study, since they only have 30 min. Most of the people don't really work for the whole period of independent study. By producing adrenalin due to the pressure you have for not finishing hmwk, you will be more effective and really work your butt off :D
Also, because of the independent time, people tend to put things of and to work on the work in independent study. For the rest of the day, the last period, you can then work on homework for the other day. Why go home early then? Half of us are not going home early to work, but to fool around. Here with teachers supervision and help, you can then get things done in what you need to get done. It's called efficiency... working when you have to work, and get the work done in the shortest amount of time you can. Rather than wanting to use a longer time and spending more time then you need for it. For me, when teachers want me to get work done in class and that this work HAS to be due in the end of the class, you work more efficiently. Yet by going home, i either put it off, of i think too much and make the question more complicated than it actually is.... = =
So i believe in my proposal. :D
Sry for my wordiness :P
I'm garrulous! and i'm proud of it!!! :D
sorry i forgot to add advisery.... :P
8:00 - 9:25: Block 1 (as currently scheduled)
9:25 - 9:40: Break
9:40 - 10:10: Independent study
10:15 - 11:40: Block 2 (would now become Pre-Calc, Math Topics, Science 7, Humanities 8, Lang. Arts 9 and Science 10)
11:40 - 12:30: Lunch/Break
12:30 - 1:55: Block 3 (as currently scheduled)
2:10 - 3:35: Block 4 (Independent Learning)
Either in the beginning of the last period of independent study or the end of the last independent study. Sorry, i'm not phrasing this clearly..
any questions about this ask me :D
no change
I will vote for no change.
I don't think its the schedule's problem at all
people simply need to get more sleep on their own.
:)
Don't change anything, I love the way we are.
ĐÖ ŅÔŦ ÇĦÅŊĞÊ ÀŃŸŦĨÑĞ ÒΔÓ
I think don't change anything is the best suggest I will chose now. And maybe we can switch Block 3 and Block 4 if possible. (I think that's not the main point now....)
Maggie Lee
no change, if you leave independent learning for the last class, people will not take advantage of that, when they are under more pressure, they'll have to use that time to finish the homework for the next class or something. If we left independent learning to the last period, people would use it more as a cool down time, rather than a productive time to finish homework.
my point: No change :)
I don't it would be a good idea to change anything. Even though having the independent learning period as the last block would give us time to complete our school work for that day in school, I'm sure that most of us would prefer to keep the schedule the way it is currently. Some may argue that having an independent learning in the earlier part of the day is pointless because we're not given the homework yet, but it would be effective if say, you had to finish up a group project that you didn't have a chance to meet and up and get done over the weekend, you would have that time to complete it.
The students are already accustomed the current schedule, why keep changing it? I know of some students that had trouble with switching their school week when monday was reverted back to a day A; rearranging our timetable yet again would cause more trouble.
General Speaking....no change needed......XD
dont change anything please, cause i do my spanish and language art homework in independent learning.
NO CHANGE!!! I LIKE THE SCHEDULE!! IF WE CHANGE IT ITS ONLY GOING TO MAKE THING COMPLICATED!!! PLEASE STAY AS IT IS!!!
i like schedule two.
coz then i wouldnt be so sleepy during the first block.
but i still don't think that its a good idea for idependent learning for the last block
I frankly don't CARE
