SRC Elections

We are in the process of learning about our potential Student Representative Council members for the coming school year. They gave speeches and then participated in a debate. The final debate takes place today between the presidential candidates.

Students will be voting using the 5 Student Learning Outcomes as the criteria for deciding who will best lead our school.

With the presidential election coming up in the US, what do you think the criteria should be to measure Mr. Obama and Mr. McCain? Who is doing a better job in deciding how to choose the candidates, HIS or USA?

Back To School!

The HIS learning community is once again together. After summer adventures taking students and teachers to Alaska, Italy and Australia, we are very happy to be starting the school year.

Next up on the calendar is camp. Are you ready to be stretched out of your safety zone? Are your lungs ready for all that fresh mountain air? Pack that bag and get ready for our community building journey to the mountains of Taiwan.

Hairspray

What an amazing job each of you did last night! We are all so very proud of you. What was fun for me was watching the whole thing come together. Watching the process and teamwork. Wow! Great job! I've posted the pictures from the past few days in the internet. You can see them in the slideshow or you can access them using this link. Good luck tonight.
